DNS Lookup

DNS, or Domain Name System, is like the internet's phonebook, translating human-readable domain names (like www.example.com) into numerical IP addresses that computers use to identify each other. When you enter a website address into your browser, DNS servers quickly look up the corresponding IP address and direct your request to the correct server. This system makes it easy for users to navigate the web without having to remember complex numeric addresses.
Select A or AAAA record for FQDN e.g. www.example.com, smtp.example.com
PTR record for IP address e.g. 8.8.8.8
NS, SOA, MX, SPF, TXT record for domain only e.g. example.com
